Beth Montessori, Inc. seeks Director of Education to analyze, evaluate, and improve current Montessori curriculum for the betterment of our scholars and students. Focus on five areas of instruction: Practical Life enhances skill and coordination through gross and fine motor tasks. The Sensorial area helps children develop and refine their senses to discriminate, categorize, and explore key concepts.  Mathematics makes use of manipulative materials to enable children to understand abstract concepts of numbers, symbols, the decimal system, and mathematical operations. Responsible for establishing clear lines of communication between the educators, the parents, and the Congregation Beth El; and ensure that the preschool educational program compliments and enhances Beth Montessori˙s wider goal of imparting certain Jewish themes and messages to the children. Requirements: Bachelor˙s degree in liberal arts field: education, communications, or related, or the foreign academic equivalent, plus 5 years of work experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
