2009 AMI/USA Public School Forum

Montessori: Quality and Sustainability

November 13-15, 2009
Denver, Colorado
Hilton Garden Inn

The 2009 public school forum focused on the sustainability offered by an AMI Montessori program. The standards endorsed by AMI provide a quality standard for the program that supports the Child in his or her achievements. Participants were immersed into the redesign of public education that Montessori has to offer. School districts, teachers, and parents all benefited from gaining a greater understanding of the ways an AMI program benefits their schools, and their children.

Ginni Sackett’s Keynote address Socio-Political Implications and Advocacy: What We Can Draw from Montessori’s Work was held on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. New in 2009 was an optional refresher of the Montessori method, Montessori 101 with Ginni Sackett, held on Friday, November 13 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
