Montessori moments aren’t just for children! At AMI/USA we strive to create services that support our members and the general public to the same degree that the Montessori method supports students in the classroom.
We focus on:- Educating the public about the AMI Montessori approach to education through written information, presentations, and web-based content.
- Advocating for policies that support the rights of children and increase the availability of Montessori education to all children. This is achieved through affiliation with other national and international education and human rights groups.
- Organizing conferences, workshops, and symposia offering renowned speakers and panel participants who are researchers and leaders in business, education, psychology, psychiatry, and human development.
- Responding to requests for information on AMI teacher training in the United States.
- Coordinating the AMI school consultation and school recognition programs for AMI affiliated schools in the United States.
- Publishing materials for use by AMI affiliated schools, AMI members, and AMI parents.
